Clematis (Nirobe)- growing on our three posted trellis

"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened." -
Anatole France

Dear Readers: I would like to thank each and every one of you for your sincere sentiments regarding the loss of our cat Leo. Although words can't bring him back, I appreciate your thoughtfulness and sentiments during this difficult time.

It amazes me that I type on a keyboard, and get to know people from all over the U.S. Canada and Europe (I welcome other parts of the world as well). I fell in love with blogging when I receieved my first post from overseas; I felt 'so international' :)

I will be back to the world of blogging. It is an outlet for me on many levels. Creating a post and receiving your replies are important to me.
Thank you again for your kind words about Leo.

  7. Each and every creature touches my soul. I am so sorry to hear of Leo and that he has left this earth.
I envision him happy in a sunny spot, near the purple flowers.
Check your e-mail for a nice surprise.

  8. Oh Leo, what a sweetie!

I have heard that your pets go to heaven and wait by the gates 'till you get there. I love that visual. I am sure there are some fabulous clematis climbing that arbor underplanted with tons and tons of catnip!

My pup Cheddar sends big kisses.

  9. Kathy -- I agree so much with that quote!
The clematis is beautiful. We have a dark purple one and I just bought a red to plant beside it. Can't wait to see the two blooming together.
