Do you know where I've been?

I have been in this room...

For this:

And this:

I don't need much convincing that a woman should take care of herself as much as possible. As a matter of fact, it has become a part of my mantra. I also believe taking care of oneself can mean alot of things to alot of people.
This week it was visits to Doctors, Dentist and then the creme de la creme - a facial and pedicure. Ah, just typing those words made me feel relaxed. It was everything I wanted it to be and more. I know I will sleep like a baby, and my body will be all the healthier for it.
Happy Weekend everyone!

  1. Ahhhh! I enjoyed those words as well. Yes...a facial and pedicure may be just the thing I need to lift my spirits!

  2. Isn't it wonderful- and we absolutely deserve these little treats! I had a manicure and pedicure this week. I hope that you sleep well. Now, a massage-that would be lovely. I start Pilates next week and am very excited!
    Have a great weekend Kathleen!

  3. Debra - let me know what you think of the Pilates class. I hope you enjoy it!

  4. Just like a bird, we need to preen and shake our own tail feathers!
I have a natural rock where the water collects and the birds come for their own spa treatments, I love watching them.

    Enjoy your weekend.

  5. I could not agree more! We need to take care of ourselves to be well. And I am in desperate need of a mani-pedi.

  6. ahhhh..... I am in need of the SPAAAA..... so glad you had a great experience! Have a wonderful weekend......

  7. I'm getting an appointment for a massage -- you convinced me!!!

  8. Oh nice. I did that recently and loved it.

  9. Kathleen,

How wonderful that you were able to treat yourself to not only the 'maintenance' but the 'luxury' (and who doesn't NEED that every now and again?) You have helped me decide what I am treating myself to with birthday cash I recently received. Thank you!

    Your Friend,

  10. ditto that! I spoil myself on massages when I can...hope u had a great time!

Thanks for visiting.
