Art imitates Nature

I think if Georgia O'Keefe ever saw a Daffodil like this, she would paint it. This photo reminds me of many of her flowers, with its incredible curly detail, almost like tissue paper. Just look at the small delicate points on the center edges of each white petal. ~Beautiful~

  5. Kathleen,

This is the most beautiful daffodil I have ever seen. Please tell me what kind it is so I can locate some bulbs for next springs garden. Your photography is beautiful. I know you studied art, do you paint? If so, I hope you share one day.
Wishing you a blessed Easter and all the wonders of spring.

and YES ! bringing the camera...how sad is this...since yesterday i am keeping a journal and writing in it before the two weeks that we get Teddy... keeping a journal on what we had for dinner and what the weather was and what we did that day..not doing much to tell you the truth..kind of depressed without my boy.

    i'll be in touch...

    sending love,
