I feel good!
I was not able to say my "Happy New Year" at the beginning of the year because I was feeling under the weather. A germ made its way inside me, and brought me to my knees. Well, now that it is over, and I have said goodbye to tissues and Vicks menthol, I can promptly move on...
I am not one for making resolutions, however, I always start off on a positive note every New Year. Even though I was sick, I thought of positive things that I want to do within the next twelve months. I intend to live more in the moment, and less in the future. The moment is where I am, and the future is uncertain. So why spend time with uncertainty? I'd rather live where I'm at and bloom where I am planted.
My type of living is doing positive, well-intended, yet challenging things. They are optimistic, and peaceful to the universe.
Peace and love to you in 2010. Happy New Year!

I'm so happy to see that you are back. Continue to rest and take good care. You have been missed.

ReplyDeletePeace and Love to you too, XXX Carmie.
Do you know that poem "Sick" by Shell Silverstein? It is one of my favorites. I am so glad you are feeling better and savouring each and every moment. When we are brought to our knees, our senses are infused with gratitude for each and every second, right? You took the words right from my mouth. I am focusing on each moment too.

ReplyDeleteWelcome back Kathy! I was going to send you an email this week, because I was getting worried. Isn't there a proverb that says start the new year off sick brings the rest of the year good health and wealth? Well OK maybe I just made it up, but there should be one. Hugs... xo
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you, too, Kathleen. I'm glad the visit to the doctor's office bore fruit!
