The best Mother I could ever ask for. She was my Mom, my best girlfriend, and my Matron of Honor at my wedding. I wrote and spoke her eulogy at her funeral service. She died peacefully in her sleep with a slight smile on her face. No pain, no medications, just fell asleep in God's arms. A most peaceful way to pass on... Good Night sweet Mom. I will love you and miss you forever in the deepest chambers of my heart and soul.

  8. A very touching tribute to your sweet mother Kathleen...in a few words you shared her beautiful soul and spirit, and truly expressed what a lovely person and mother she was...and she always will be, in your heart and in the hearts of all who knew her. While I have never left a comment before I clicked on this post from R.J.'s Place blog. We share many coincidences: I also am a NJ native (Plainfield, Somerville, Beachwood) before moving to the VA eastern shore and now NH. My mother died this past Dec 22, 2014, aged 92. And, purple is my favorite color (Feb birthday; amethyst birthstone)..
