My flower garden has wilted. The roses, the sunflowers - all droopy. However, when I think of the amount of snow I shoveled last winter, I will take this heatwave and water the garden twice a day. This too shall pass.
I don't mind the heat it is the humidity that makes it hard to breathe. Before we know it fall will be here, right? My garden too has been spent. Stay cool my friend!! Xo
Your flowers will return, we guarantee it!! I adore Spring time with new buds and promise I am happy to have found your blog and am your recent follower Helen
Oh sweetie, I hear ya loud and clear! We pulled up from our annual go down to Brownsville Texas and fix up everything for mom 'Workcatin' and my whole acre of flower gardens were brown. Bit dead by the 27 degree weather we had while we were gone. Dang!!!
It was a sad, sad sight and a heck of a job to clean up!
God bless ya sweetie and may you have a most colorful day! :o)
I have a lovely sign to remind me to water early!
ReplyDeleteStay cool!
