Shel Silverstein has insight

"Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me...Anything can happen, child. Anything can be."
A quote by Shel Silverstein

Profound words from a wonderfully talented Artist, Author, Philospher and all 'round genius. Can you tell I enjoy him? Everytime I read the book (below) I can feel my heart melt. If by chance, you've never read this book, run, don't walk to your favorite bookstore. You will position it high on the shelf, along with Shakespeare.

Please include the people of the world in your prayers tonight. ~Goodnight my friends.

The above quote is not in "The Giving Tree"

  9. I love Shel! The Giving Tree is the perfect baby gift. I love to start a library for little ones...Shel & Dr. Seuss pretty much cover everything you need to know to get through life. :-)
