Four seasons...

Do you have a favorite season? And which one might that be? People have various opinions about their favorite season. Of course there are countless things to do within each season; that is the beauty of it all.

However, I am curious if you have a particular season that sets your heart aglow? I have two seasons. Sorry, I just can not break it down to one. It's Spring with my flowers blooming everywhere. The other favorite is Autumn, with the crisp air in the crystal blue sky, and crunchy leaves under my feet, and the smell of wood burning - so glad we are on the eve of it.

  1. Must I choose?

I adore them all but Autumn is creeping into the top. Just the thought of it makes me smile. But everyday above ground is amazing.

  2. Autumn is my all-time favorite. I love the nesting part, soup making and fires at night. But winter is cozy and looking at the holidays is sweet. Spring brings on new beginning of hope and flowers to come. Summer means getting outside more and feeling the warmth each day-working in the gardens. Oh... I can't decide. Today I choose autumn!

  3. I enjoy all seasons, but my favorite is Autumn. I love to see things that grew in spring, danced in summer, now get ready to bed down for the winter. Watching the animals busy preparing and the wonderful golden colors of the season.

Kathy, I was in Pottery Barn on my way home from the doctor, this is always my treat either PB or Crate and Barrel for being a good girl. I kept walking around and around the store enjoying all that was on display it was full of fall things. I mentioned to the one gal I wanted to grab a hot apple cider and just sit in one of the chairs for the rest of the day to enjoy.

    Have a golden one! xoxo

  5. Good morning, I saw your post on Nan's site and stopped by to welcome you to the world of blogging.

I agree, spring and autumn are my favorite seasons. Spring is so full of promise, new beginnings, lost of plans and hopes. Autumn is more laid back with perfect weather, the heat and humidity behind us and the dreaded winter still a way off.

  6. I love love love spring and autumn, and I wallow in the loveliness of summer. I'm working on finding a winter hobby or project before the first snow falls, so that I can develop a better opinion of that season.

  13. so funny you mention 2. Just before i read that line i said to myself I have 2! Summer and autumn. SUmmer for the long days and warm nights, beautiful early morning air. Fall for it's crispness and "get back to school" memories where i get very productive.

  14. That's a hard choice! I think spring is probably my favorite because I spend so much time anticipating it during our long winters in Michigan. Summer is a close second, though. I love the warm sunny days with the kids out of school.

  15. It is hard to choose...Part of the reason I live where I do is the change of seasons. I really do love them all! But I am a huge fan of autumn. It seems shorter and shorter each year...what I would give for a couple of months of changing leaves, crisp air, warm apple cider and long walks on the empty beach!
